The Chief stated he felt the Arden Hills' fire rating could be reduced from 6 <br /> to 4 with a decrease in homeowner's insurance of 5% to 10%, He also advised <br /> the Council that it would be advantageous for the Fire Department to have Arden <br /> Hills join Shoreview for Station #4. He added that it appeared there would be <br /> four budgets within an overlay contract. <br /> Recruitment of fire fighters was discussed. <br /> Discussion ensued as to alternatives available to Arden Hills. Chief Winkel <br /> advised that Shoreview may be constructing another station next to their <br /> maintenance land. Mayor WOOdburn stated he felt Arden Hills should be <br /> self-sufficient, and he didn't feel like proceeding with Station #4 just to <br /> help Shoreview. <br /> Winkel asked if Arden Hills and Shoreview councils were going to meet; Mayor <br /> Woodburn advised Shoreview did not see the need for a meeting yet. <br /> Councilmember Hansen asked the Chief to submit costs of trucks which were <br /> demonstrated on March 21. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 12:45 p.m. <br /> Patricia J.
