Intent. <br /> It is the lntent of this Article to supplement the laws <br /> of this State with respect to the operation of <br /> recreational motor vehicles, in pa rticular, and <br /> Chapters 168 through 171 of Minnesota Statutes, as <br /> amended, in general. This Article is not intended to <br /> allow what the State statutes prohibit nor to prohibit <br /> what the State statutes expressly allow. " <br /> Section 6. Addition of New Section 26- 25 of Arden Hi 11 s . <br /> Code. Artlcle II of Chapter 26 of the Arden Hll1s Code lS hereby <br /> amended by adding thereto a new Section 26-25: <br /> "Sec. 26-25. De f initions. For the purposes of this <br /> Article, the followlng words and phrases shall have the <br /> meanings respectively ascribed to them: <br /> (a) All Terrain Vehicle: A three-wheel, off-road <br /> vehicle or motorized flotation-tired vehicle of not <br /> less than three (3 ) low pressure tires, but not more <br /> than six ( 6 ) tires, that is limited in engine <br /> displacement of less than 800 cubic centimeters and <br /> total dry weight of less than 600 pounds. <br /> (b) O~erate: To ride in or on and control the <br /> operatlon of a recreational motor vehicle. <br /> (c) Operator: A person who operates or is in actual <br /> physical control of a recreational motor vehicle. <br /> (d) Owner: A person, other than a lien holder, having <br /> ownership of or ti tie to a recreational motor vehicle <br /> and entitled to the use or possession thereof. <br /> . <br /> - 2 - <br />
