COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 250 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13-24 ANn 13-26 OF ARDEN HILLS CODE <br /> BY DELETING THEREFROM AND ADDING THERETO CERTAIN LICENSES <br /> AND PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF INVESTIGATIVE FEES BY RESOLUTION <br /> AND SECTION 13-26 BY DELETING PRORATING OF CONTRACTORS LICENSE FEES <br /> AND SECTION 6-62 AND SECTION 6-147, BY INCREASING INSURANCE <br /> REQUIREMENTS <br /> The City Council of Arden Hills ordains: <br /> Section 1. Amendment to Section 13-24 of Arden Hills Code. Section <br /> 13-24 of the Arden Hills Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 13-24. Establishment of Fees by resolution. <br /> License and investigative fees for all licenses required by the City <br /> pursuant to the provisions of this code and for the following types of <br /> licenses shall be from time to time established in a resolution <br /> adopted by the council: <br /> (a) Alcoholic beverage (intoxicating liquor); <br /> . (b) On-sale wine and beer; <br /> (c) Malt beverage; <br /> (d) Amusement facility (including bowling alley, arcade, dance hall, <br /> movie theater, pool/billiard tables and/or hall, indoor tennis <br /> and/or racquetball and/or squash facility, skating facility, <br /> outdoor tennis facility, driving range, shooting gallery and <br /> facilities for similar functions or activities); <br /> (e) Mechanical/electronic recreation devices (including mechanical <br /> amusement device, mechanical amusement ride, mechanical musical <br /> device and devices of a similar nature); <br /> (f) Bulk storage plant or dealership; <br /> (g) Cigarette vending machine; <br /> (h) Dog kennel operator; <br /> (1) Garbage and refuse collector; <br /> (j) Heating/Ventilating/Air Condition/Gas installer; <br /> (k) Construction or building contractor; <br /> ( 1) Excavating contractor; <br /> (m) Retail sales vendor or dealer including, but not limited to, <br /> antique dealer, boat dealer, optometrist, laundry, mortuary, <br /> video sales and rental dealer, candy vendor, butcher, dry <br /> cleaning establishment, equipment rental dealer, caterer, <br /> automobile dealer, and dealers and vendors selling or renting <br /> goods not otherwise listed; <br /> (n) Restaurant/cafe/public dining room or eating house; <br /> (0) Service station and self service gas/diesel station and <br /> . convenience store; <br /> (p) Sign/billboard; <br /> (q) Taxicab; <br /> (r) Hotel/motel; <br /> (s) Grocery <br />
