South Tower Improvements Project Discussion <br />Assistant Public Works Director Miller explained that Dan Nesler, PE from TKDA would give <br />a short presentation. <br />Mr. Nesler stated that the improvements and repair to the South Tower were identified in the <br />Capital Improvement Plan for 2024. An inspection in 2022 identified a few structural and painting <br />items that need to be addressed. The City also completed the Risk and Resiliency study where <br />some security improvements were recommended. He explained the structural repairs that were <br />needed, possible materials for fencing, and types of gates they could consider. He reviewed the <br />probable costs for repairs, security improvements, construction contingency and engineering costs <br />with a total of $443,017. <br />
