Cigarettes, Off Sale non- <br />IntoxicatIng malt liquors. <br />AUTomatic Vendors, Inc. - 4171 North Lexington Ave. Vending <br />machine cafe at Control DaTa Corp. <br />motion carried, <br /> <br />Lake Level Discussion pOSTPoned <br />Council requested the Clerk to ask the County Engineer for information <br />by lettar, if possible, reguardlng the lake level and If their Intent <br />Is to maintain the level with a .5 of " tolerance. If the County Engin- <br />eer feels he can better explain the subject by personal appearance, the <br />clerk was asked to schedule his appearance at a future Council Meeting. <br /> <br />New Village Emplovee <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist received an application for employment from <br />Steve Lonien, 1796 North Chats worth Avenue, Fred Nixon, maintenance man, <br />informed the Council that two of the part-time maintenance men were not <br />always avaIlable. <br /> <br />As recommended by Mr. Nixon and Trustees BJorndahl and Olmen, Trustee <br />Olmen moved, seconded by Trustee BJorndahl, that Steve Lonien be employed <br />on a Seasonal part time basis for maintenance work at $3.00 per hour and <br />rink attendant at $2.00 per hour, effective December 4, 1966; motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Data Processin~ Canter <br />Clark Lorraine Stromquist informed the Council of a letter, dated <br />December 5, 1966, from Ramsey County Data Processing Department stating <br />several governmental agencies are cooperating on settling up a central <br />data processing system and request Arden Kills' cooperation. This system <br />wi II probably be avaIlable In time for additional work and Ramsey County <br />15 interested in knowing of any possIble use our Village could make of <br />this service and our interest In cooperating. <br /> <br />4It?ferk Informed the Counc! (Sea adl!tional Information under "1956 VII~age Audit") <br /> <br />1966 Vlllaqe Audit <br />Clerk stated that the George M. Hanson Company has started the audit of <br />the Vlllsge's 1966 accounts. Our auditor feels we are not ready for <br />Data processing yet, but this might be desirable in the future for sewar <br />billing. depending upon the cost etc of the service from the County. <br /> <br />Apportionment of Assessments - Sewer Impr. No. 4 <br />Trustee Olman introduced a resolution snd moved Its adoption relating to <br />the apportionment of assessments relating to Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.4, <br />85 attached; motion carried. <br /> <br />Pedestrian Trail <br />Clerk reported the Mounds View School District. In their letter of November <br />29, 1966. gave Informal approval of the use of the pedestrian tre! I across <br />their property; the 500 Line Railroad is requesting further information. <br />Trustee Crepeau will contact Northern States Power Company for their <br />approval. <br />-5- <br />
