Mr. Wast Informod the Council that he had made seversl Inspection trIps to this site whlDe the contractor was ~orklng as the contractor vas on this job about six weeks. Mr. West stated that the aanl ~ould have to be dug down to about 7 ft. to determine the s!za of the cas- Ing; there Is ijO dlsagre.ment regarding the depth of t~. ae!l. Mr~ W.st stated that. He recommended to Mr. Salltros that he have the water tested by e r.- n!ab~B testIng laboratory as the ~ater must be take~ directly from the toYer! ~ Tho Council agreed with Mr. West9s opln!ons and recommendatIons Gnd requested Clerk Lorraine Stromquist to Inform Mr. Salltros by tettor 01 the above determinations. ReQuest for Sewer ConnectIon Time Extension ~. Mr. Victor Pomerenke. Johanna Realty Co.. Introduced Mr. David Kublatowlcz. potentIal buyer of 2 acres iocated ~est of Snelling Ave. and south of the Soo ilne.tracks. on which Is Ooc~ted a small house - designated as 1543 Oak Avenue. Mr. Kublatowlcz Intends to live In the ex!stlng dwelling and to construct a permanent home at a latsr date. He stated that the present facilities are adequate end requested a variance be granted to allo~ him to continue the use of these facll!tles and not be forced to connect to the sanitary sewer system. E~9r. Lund Informed the Council that a connectIon Is posslbge as a nyn was Instal~ed, but there Is no service to the boulev~rd and the existing structure Is high enough to be servUced. Un response to Mr. Kublatoulcz' comment that the proposed ne~ house mlght be located 8o~er than the present one, Engr. Lund recommended that It aouRd be to his advantage to build on a site of su'flctlent height to enabl. the home to be serv8ced.
