RESOLUTION VACATING VIEW AVENUE AND PART, OF MOUNDS AVENUE IN THE VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with this Council by James Adams and others in accordance with the provisions of Section 412.851 of Minnesota Stat- utes Annotated, requesting the vacation of View Avenue in the plat of Mounds Center and a part of Mounds Avenue in said plat of Mounds Center, all within the Village of Arden Hills, and WHEREAS, said petition was found to be legally sufficient and duly pub- lished and posted notice was thereupon given of a public hearing to be held thereof on April 25, 1966, at 8:00 o'clock P.M.', at a regular Council meeting in the Village Hall, 1450 West Highway No. 96, St. Paul 12, Minnesota, which notice was given in accordance with the provisions of said Section 412.851, and WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held and an opportunity was afforded for statements for or against the granting of this petition, NOW THEREFORE, upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously approved, with a quorum of the Council being then and there present, it was RESOLVED, that it appears in the interest of the public to vacate the following described streets in Arden Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota, to-wit: View Avenue as described in the plat of Mounds Center on file in the office of the Register of Deeds, Ramsey County, Minnesota, . and also that part of Mounds Avenue lying Westerly of the Northerly exten- sion of the West line of Lot 3, Block 5, Mounds Center as described in the plat of Mounds Center on file in the office of the Register of Deeds, Ramsey County, Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that no award of damages in favor of the Village shall be made upon this vacation. - 1 -
