,-ARZEN HILLS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: February 22, 2024 <br />TO: Jessica Jagoe, Community Development Director <br />FROM: David Swearingen, P.E. Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: 1594 Lake Johanna Blvd. Drainage and Utility Easement vacation <br />Public Works staff conducted a review of the documents for the proposed vacation for part of the <br />drainage and utility easement, as created and dedicated in the plat of LAKE JOHANNA <br />WOODS, Ramsey County, Minnesota, lying over, under and across Lot 2, Block 1, said LAKE <br />JOHANNA WOODS dated January 5, 2024 and described as follows: <br />Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Lot 2; thence North 74 degrees 58 minutes <br />52 seconds East, along the northerly line of said Lot 2, a distance of 58.89 feet; thence <br />South 02 degrees 42 minutes 17 seconds West, a distance of 78.24 feet; thence North 88 <br />degrees 03 minutes 24 seconds West, 6.75 feet to the point of beginning; thence South <br />06 degrees 33 minutes 25 seconds East, 24.49 feet to the northerly line of the <br />Conservation Easement as described in Document No. 2089031; thence South 85 <br />degrees 16 minutes 57 seconds West, along said northerly line, a distance of 22.23 feet; <br />thence North 36 degrees 30 minutes 01 second East, a distance of 32.54 feet to said <br />point of beginning. <br />Public Works staff is in support of the vacation due to the proposed grading and drainage plan <br />related to the Grading and Erosion Control Permit #2024-00076 and support from the Rice Creek <br />Watershed District. <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
