The property is the site of a <br />Drainage and Utility Easement per the Plat of Lake Johanna Woods as well as a Conservation <br />Easement. The request for a partial vacation is for the Drainage and Utility Easement. <br />Easement Vacation Request <br />The Applicant is requesting to partially vacate the existing drainage and utility easement to allow <br />for the expansion of an existing deck in the rear yard. The Public Works Director has reviewed <br />the proposed easement vacation and provided a memo in support of the vacation request. Staff <br />has shared the proposed easement vacation with representatives of the Minnesota Board of Water <br />and Soil Resources and Rice Creek Watershed District and the proposal did not raise concerns. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
