CONSENT ITEM — 8B <br />'It <br />EN HILLS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: March 11, 2024 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br />FROM: Jessica Jagoe, Community Development Director <br />SUBJECT: Lindey's Site Plan Review Extension — Mark and Tracy Lindemer <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />N/A N/A N/A <br />Council Should Consider <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />A 60-day extension until June 24, 2024 for the deadline to be issued City permits for the <br />approved parking lot improvements from Planning Case 23-006. <br />Background <br />On April 24, 2023, the City Council approved Planning Case 23-006 from Mark and Tracy <br />Lindemer, Lindey's Inc. for a Site Plan Review at 3610 Snelling Avenue North. The Site Plan <br />Review included modifications to the existing parking lot at Lindey's Restaurant to address truck <br />circulation and property demands as well as the addition of parking along the relocated County <br />Road E driveway. Conditions of approval include a requirement that the Applicant obtain the <br />necessary City permits. The Site Plan Review approval automatically expires one year from and <br />after the date on which the City Council granted such approval if permits are not issued. The one <br />year deadline for issuance of permits is April 24, 2024. <br />Due to County's bidding process, the Applicant has stated that there is the potential that they may <br />not meet the April 241h deadline for issuance of City permits.
