Berger <br /> FROM: Deputy Clerk Catherine J. lago <br /> RE: Request to Attend the Minne.<, :,ta Municipal Clerks and Finance <br /> Officers Annual Conference, March 20-23 <br /> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> The MCFOA Annual Conference is scheduled for March 20-23, 1990, at Cragun's <br /> Resort in Brainerd, Minnesota. Registration fee for the four day conference <br /> is $100.00 and the hotel room rate will,e $187.61 for three nights. I have <br /> made arrangements to share a room with the City Clerk from Albert Lea and <br /> the cost for the room will be half the above listed rate. Some of the Clerks <br /> from the metropolitan area have made arrangements to travel by bus to the <br /> conference; the cost for the bus is $17.00 round trip and I will opt to <br /> travel by bus since the cost is more reasonable than taking my personal <br /> vehicle. Including some meals which arE: not covered by the conference <br /> registr~tion fee, the costs for my attendance should not exceed the 1990 <br /> budgeted amount of $250.00. <br /> . The Conference program schedule is attached for your review and there <br /> are several topics which I feel are pertinent to issues which are <br /> currently facing the City of Arden Hills. <br /> 1 respectfully request authorization to attend the MCFOA Annual Conference <br /> and expend the funds as listed above, not to exceed the $250.00 budgeted amount. <br /> Thank you for your consideration of this request. <br /> . <br />
