The applications were reviewed and rated by using <br /> the following criteria: <br /> Education: BA Degree in Recreation 30 points <br /> BA Degree in Physical Education 25 points <br /> BA Degree in Leisure Studies or Related Field 20 points <br /> Work Exp: Full time Recreation 20 points <br /> Full time Related Field 15 points <br /> . Part time .R;;;~;~~i:.."eation 10 points <br /> Part time Related Field 5 poi.nts <br /> Supervisory Experience: <br /> Full time in Supervision & Training 10 points <br /> Part time in Supervision & Training 5 points <br /> Personal Skills 5 or 10 points <br /> The ten individuals with the highest points were invited to participate in <br /> an oral interview and written exercise on Thursday, February 15 and <br /> Friday, February 16. The interview panel consisted of Mark Petersen, <br /> Plymouth Park Supervisor, Kelly Schultz, New Brighton Program Supervisor <br /> and myself. <br /> Seven women and three men were interviewed. Two men scheduled for <br /> interviews withdrew because they were successful in securing other <br /> recreation positions. <br /> All candidates received a 40 question oral interview and a 45 minute <br /> written exercise. The oral intervie~v questions and written exercise are <br /> attached. The interview panel individually rated each applicant. After <br /> all interviews were completed, the panel members selected their top five <br /> applicants. Rating results are attached. <br /> . The top candidate was Ms. Teri Chapman and the runner-up candidate was Ms. <br /> Cynthia Severtson. Ms. Severtson's application and resume are attached. <br />
