<br /> Minutes of the Arden Hills Regular Council Meeting, 2-26-90 <br />. p,age 5 <br /> PERF. EVALUATION; Clerk Administrator Berger advised Council that <br /> PW SUPER. WINKEL Dan Winkel has completed his six month probationary <br /> period as Public Works Supervisor and recommended Council <br />. conduct an employee performance appraisal on March 12, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mnlonc moved, seconded hy M~howald, tha t COlinci.1 schedule <br /> an employee performance appraisal for Public Works Supervisor Dan Winkel to be <br /> held on Monday, March 12, 1990, at 6;30 p.m., at Ci ty Hall. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. (3-0) <br /> ASSESSMENT POLICY Clerk Administrator Berger advised that Engineer Maurer <br /> is prepared to discuss a proposed assessment policy for <br /> the City of Arden Hills and requested Council schedule a time for discussion. He <br /> noted the Public Works/Safety Committee and Finance Subcommittee are currently <br /> reviewing the policy and recommended Council consider inviting the committees to <br /> attend the worksession for discussion of the policy. <br /> Council concurred to schedule discussion of the proposed assessment policy at the <br /> Council Worksession to be held on Monday, March 19, 1990, at 4:30 p.m. <br /> There was discussion relative to the status of the Oak Avenue Improvement and the <br /> Cleveland Avenue Lift Station Improvement; it was determined that both <br /> improvement hearings be scheduled after the assessment policy is reviewed. <br /> Public Works Supervisor Winkel advised the Cleveland Avenue lift station will <br /> require electrical connection from NSP; explained NSP will have to connect <br /> three-phase power to the lift station at an estimated cost of $14,000.00. <br />. There was discussion relative to including the cost for electrical connection in <br /> the assessment. <br /> Council directed staff to review this matter with Engineer Barry Peters to <br /> determine inclusion of the costs in the improvement. <br /> ADJOURN Mahowald moved, seconded by Malone, that the meeting be <br /> adjourned at 8:25 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
