Berger, city Administrator <br />FROM: Mary Ann DeLaRosa, Administrative Secretary <br />SUBJECT: 'Request to Attend Advanced Institute <br />------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />As the attached flyer indicates, the Minnesota Municipal Clerks <br />Advanced Institute will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 17 <br />and 18, at the Earle Brown Center on the st. Paul campus of the <br />University of Minnesota. <br />I would like to request permission to attend this two day <br />session, in order to further my education and to receive the <br />necessary points toward my international certification <br />designation. The registration fee is $120, which has been <br />budgeted for my attendance. <br />The topics to be covered are listed in the attachment, and as you <br />may recall from my recent evaluation, I indicated that I would <br />like to learn the LOTUS computer softwar8 program. I feel that . <br />my attendance at this session would be a good step toward <br />becoming more familiar with spreadsheets, which could be very <br />useful in my work here, especially in the event of an elnergency <br />absence of Darlene. <br />Thank you for your consideration. <br />madlr <br />attachment <br /> . <br />
