Berger, city Administrator <br /> SUBJECT: Additional Memory to Upgrade computer <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> In order to print better quality graphics with our computers, we <br /> need to add a memory board to our existing computer system. <br /> This will allow more capability for printing graphics, not only <br /> for budget purposes, but also for the Parks Dept., for their <br /> graphics. <br /> Scott Kuhne, from Ameridata, informed us the cost for the <br /> additional memory is $518, plus $65 installation costs, for a <br /> total of $583. Since we are currently leasing our computer <br /> equipment from Ameridata, this expenditure would add an <br /> additional $21.63 per month to our lease payments. <br /> . RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends authorization of this expenditure in ordc:;:' to <br /> allow expanded capability of our computer system. <br /> ACTION REQUIRED: <br /> If Council concurs with the staff recommendation, they should <br /> pass a motion, under Consent, authorizing an expenditure of $583 <br /> to Ameridata, for expanded memory for the City's computer <br /> system. <br /> GRB:madlr <br /> . <br />
