<br /> . Division 5. Authorized Gambling <br /> Sec. 5-1. Definitions. Except as provided herein, the <br /> definitions contained in the Minnesota Lawful Gambling Act shall <br /> apply to the words, terms and phrases used herein: <br /> A. "Allowable Expense" means reasonable sums that are <br /> necessarily and actually expended for the following <br /> purposes: <br /> 1. Gambling supplies and equipment; <br /> 2. Rent; <br /> 3. utilities used during gambling occasions; <br /> 4. Compensation paid to members for conducting <br /> gambling on a compensation schedule devised by the <br /> organization for its employees for the conduct of <br /> lawful gambling; <br /> 5. Maintenance of devices used in lawful gambling; <br /> 6. Accounting services; <br /> . 7. License renewal; <br /> 8. Bond for gambling manager; <br /> 9. Insurance on gambling activities; <br /> 10. Investigation fee; <br /> 11. One-third of the amount of increase in the annual <br /> premium of liability insurance. <br /> B. tlSoardll means the Minnesota Charitable Gambling Control <br /> Board. <br /> C. "Gross Profit" means the gross receipts collected from <br /> lawful gambling, less reasonable sums necessarily and <br /> actually expended for prizes. <br /> D. "Gross Receipts II means the total amount collected by an <br /> organization from participants in lawful. gambling. <br /> Gross receipts for bingo include any amounts received <br /> by the organization that have been paid by a person at <br /> the bingo occasion to play the game, without which the <br /> player could not play the game. <br /> . E. IILawful Gambling" means the operation, conduct or sale <br /> of bingo, raffles, paddle wheels, tip boards and/or <br /> pull tabs. <br />
