IDNDAY, DECEMBER 31 to WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 2, 5:00 P.M. <br /> As per city Code, Council must hold a meeting on the first regular \::usiness day <br /> of each year, at which time newly-elec:ted officials assmne office and staff <br /> members are appointed. since this meeting is usually held earlier than regular <br /> meetings and as the first We:IDesday of each month is the regular Plarming <br /> CoImnission meeting date, it is suggesterl the time be set at 5:00 p.m. <br /> ACrION RB;;lUIRED: <br /> If Council concurs with staff recommendations, they should pass a motion to <br /> reschedule the following regular Council Meetings: Monday, october 8 to 'I\lesday, <br /> october 9, at 7:30 p.m., M::>nday, November 12 to 'I\lesday, November 13, at 7:30 <br /> p.m., Monday, December 31 to We:IDesday, January 2, 1991, at 5:00 p.m., and to <br /> direct staff to notify the city legal publication of the date changes. <br /> GRB: err <br />. <br />
