<br /> , <br /> . <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF R~~SEY . <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION XIV TO APPENDIX A OF THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS RELATING TO THE <br />IMPOSITION OF AN INTERIM DEVELOPMENT MORATORIUM. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS ORDAINS THAT SECTION <br />XIV SHALL BE ADDED TO APPENDIX A OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> XIV. MISCELLANEOUS REGULATIONS <br />(A) Lexinqton-Fox Studv Area. <br /> 1. Defined. City has authorized its Planning <br /> Commission and consultants to conduct studies and <br /> is in the process of formulating and adopting <br /> amendments to its comprehensive plan and official <br /> controls for that portion of the C;j,.ty of Arden <br /> Hills located as follows (herein "Study Area"): <br /> a. North of County Road E; . <br /> b. West of Lexington Avenue; <br /> C. South of 1694; and <br /> d. East of state Trunk Highway 51. <br /> 2. Statement of Public Purnose. The City Council has <br /> determined that in order to protect the planning <br /> process, it is in the public's interest, to impose <br /> an interim development moratorium on development <br /> within the Study Area until the proposed changes <br /> to the City's comprehensive plan and official <br /> controls are implemented. <br /> 3. Interim Development Moratorium. There is hereby <br /> imposed an interim development moratorium on all <br /> development within the study Area from the <br /> effective date of this Ordinance until March 1, <br /> 1991 or until further council action whichever <br /> occurs first. City may rescind the interim <br /> development moratorium by resolution. The City <br /> may extend the interim development moratorium by <br /> adopting an appropriate ordinance after a pUblic <br /> hearing preceded by ten (10) days mailed notice. . <br />
