CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
. MEMORANDUM
-----------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------
DATE: October 24, 1990
TO: Mayor and city council
FROM: Dan winkel, Public Works Supervisor
SUBJECT: Completion of One Year Employment for Steve (pete)
Saxe
------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Steve Saxe will be completing his first year of employment on
November 1, 1990. I met with Mr. Saxe to conduct his one year
evaluation. I feel that he has done an outstanding job for us
since being hired last November. He had a lot of experience
before coming to Arden Hills and has been a very positive
attribute to our Public Works Dept. Steve is very willing to
learn how our system works and able to contribute significantly
to our day-to-day operations.
RECOMMENDATION:
. Based on a very positive performance evaluation and a highly
satisfactory first year of employment, I recommend that Mr. Saxe
move Oil to level five of his pay plan. He is currentli' at level
four or 95% of the wage rate. Moving to level five would bring
him to 100% or full wages for his pay plan.
ACTION REQUIRED:
If Council concurs with the staff recommendation, they should
pass a motion approving the pay increase to 100% of the wage rate
or $13.38 per hour, effective November 1, 1990.
DW:mah
.
.
