The Recreation Committee will coordinate these requests; <br /> Trustee Bjorndahl \1111 notify the groups concerning scheduled <br /> available time. <br /> Trustee Bjorndahl also requested that pay phones be Installed <br /> at both skating sites. <br />. MAYOR KENNEDY'S REPORT <br /> Annual Assessment Meetln~ <br /> Mayor Kennedy requested Administrative Clerk Stromquist to attend <br /> the Assessment Meeting, Friday, December 17, at the County Court <br /> House. <br /> District PlanninQ <br /> May~rKennedy stated that volunteer meetings with contiguous vii lages <br /> were desirable for the purpose of coordinated planning, especially <br /> for border areas. The Mayor also suggested that the Village of Arden <br /> Hills concentrate Its efforts In district planning through the <br /> Ramsey County League of Municipalities which Is doing a good job <br /> and seems the best vehicle for district planning problems. <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK STROMQUIST'S REPORT <br /> Clerk Stromquist Informed the Council that Ramsey County had <br /> accepted part of old Highway 610 from the Village of Arden HII Is <br /> as detailed in the attached Resolution. <br /> Auditor for 1965 Accounts <br /> Administrative Clerk Stromquls7 recommended that the George M. <br /> Hansen Company be appointed as auditor. Trustee Bjorndahl moved <br /> that the George M. Hansen Co. be appointed to do the 1965 audit, <br /> Including a balance sheet, at a cost not to exceed $1,000.00. <br /> Seconded by Trustee Crepeau. Carried. <br /> The Counc i I also recommended that Clerk Stromquist fol low those <br /> procedures suggested In Mr. Hansen's letter of August 31, 1965, <br /> which are applicable to Arden Hills. <br /> Metropolitan Plannlnq Seminar <br /> Copies of the report from Elaine Campbell who attended this seminar <br /> were distributed to Council members. <br /> Budqet Reports <br /> Budget reports through November 30, were distributed to the Council. <br /> I Christmas Plant <br /> The clerk was requested to send a note of thanks to the First State <br /> Bank of New Brighton for the lovely poinsettia plant. <br /> Appolntmentment of Seasonal Employee <br /> On recommendation of Fred Nixon, Trustee Crepeau moved that Arthur <br /> Erickson of 1935 Grant Road be appointed as a seasonal employee at <br /> $3.00 per hour effective December 13, 1965.
