BEING <br />SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO.8 AND STREET <br />IMPROVEMENT NO" 7, APPROVING pLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR sAID SEWER IMPROVEMENT <br />NO.8, AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />IN SAID SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO; 8. <br /> <br />WHEREAs, pursuant to resolution adopted by this Council on June 28, 1965, <br /> <br />Banister Engineering Company has prepared and submitted to the Council plans <br /> <br />and specifications for installing a sanitary sewer to serve Cummings Lane and <br /> <br />certain adjacent property from its intersection with Snelling Avenue to the <br /> <br />easterly termination of said Cummings Lane, and <br /> <br />WllEREAS, Banister Engineering company has heretofore submitted to the <br /> <br />Council its feasibility report dated May 6, 1965, advising that the said <br /> <br />proposed sanitary sewer improvement and the restoration and improvement of <br /> <br />the said street surface of Cummings Lane subsequent to the construction of <br /> <br />said sanitary sewer was also feasible, and advising as to the proposed cost <br /> <br />thereof, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Arden Hills as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />(1) The plans and specificstions of Banister Engineering Company for the <br /> <br />aforesaid sewer fmprovement to serve Cummings Lane and adjacent property as <br /> <br />hereinbefore referred to, which plans and specifications are on file with the <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I <br />, <br />I Clerk, are hereby in all things approved. <br />I <br />! (2) The improvement of Cummings Lane as hereinbefore described by <br /> <br />installation therein of a sanitary sewer and by installation thereon of a <br /> <br />, bituminous-surfaced roadway at an estimated total cost of Seventeen Thousand <br /> <br />One Hundred Seventy Five Dollars Eighty Three Cents ($17,175.83) for the <br /> <br />sewer improvement and Six Thousand Eight Hundred Seven Dollars Sixty Cents <br /> <br /> <br />($6,807.60) for the street fmprovement, and the assessment of the abutting <br /> <br />property and benefited adjacent property for all or a portion of said cost, all <br /> <br />-1- <br />
