<br />Minutes of Special Meeting <br />Council of the Village of A~den Hills <br />Mond8Y. May 17, 1965 <br /> <br />The meeting Was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Mayor Kennedy. <br /> <br />Roll Call: P~esent = Mayor Kennedy, T~ustee Crepeau, OlmenD <br />Nethercut and Lang <br /> <br />Absent = None <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Also Present = Administrative Clerk Lorraine StromqUist. <br />Atty. Vincent P. Courtney and members of the <br />Ordinance Committee = John Sullivan and Donald <br />Zehm. <br /> <br />Mayor Kennedy opened 'the meeting by informing the [roup of the <br />vast amount of preliminary work per,.ol:'med by John Sexton to <br />accomplish a codification of the present village ordinances. ~ <br />report of the Village Ordinance Committee, dated February 15, 1965. <br />and Ordinance indexes listed in numerical and topical order were <br />s'budied by the Cou.'1cil. <br /> <br />Mr. SUllivan ond Mr. ~ehm explained the proposed codificat~on to <br />the Council members. <br /> <br />lI'bty. Courtney infol'med the group,,'bha"b, if the proposed codificet;iOfl <br />is adopted, only the notice of 8doption will need to be pUbliShed. <br /> <br />After considerable discussion. motion Was made by Trustee Crepeau, <br />seconded by Trustee Lang, that Atty. Courtney prepare and SUbmit <br />to the Council a resolution for adoption of the Ordinance Codifi= <br />cation; motion carried. <br /> <br />Atty. Courtney was requested to submit copies of the p~oposed <br />resolution to the Council and the Ordinance Committee for studYn <br /> <br />Atty.
