<br />STAn: OF MJ:NIilESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ARDEN BILLS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REPORT ON IMPROVEMImX OF CUMMINGS LANE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Cummings Lane and certain adjacent <br /> <br />properties by installing a sanitary sewer in Snelling Avenue and Cummings <br /> <br />Lane, commencing at a point approximately three hundred feet north of the <br /> <br />intersection of Cummings Lane and Snelling Avenue, extending southerly on <br /> <br />Snelling Avenue, easterly on Cummings Lane, and then continuing easterly <br /> <br />across STH 5l-125 to a junction with the sanitary sewer on Hamline Avenue, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is also proposed to restore and resurface Cummings Lane <br /> <br />and Snelling Avenue after the installation of aaid sanitary sewer and the <br /> <br />necessary appurtenances, which road improvement will extend from Snelling <br /> <br />Avenue on Cummings Lane to the easterly termination of Cummings Lane, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to as seas the benefited property for all or <br /> <br />a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, <br /> <br />Sections 429.0l1 through 429.11, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ARDEN BILLS, <br />lI:I:I:NNESOTA: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />That the proposed improvements be referred to Banister <br />Engineering Company, Village Engineers, for study, and <br />that said engineers be instructed to report to the <br />Council with all convenient apeed advising the Council <br />in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improve- <br />ments are feasible and as to whether they should be made <br />as proposed or in connection with some other improvements, <br />and advising also as to whether it would be feasible to <br />construct a turnaround at the easterly termination of <br />Cummings Lane, and advising on the estimated cost of the <br /> <br />- 1 - <br />
