<br />, <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Extract of Minutes of the Meeting <br />of the Village Council of the <br />Village of Arden Hills <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br /> <br />. of the Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, <br /> <br /> <br />was duly held at the Village Hall in said village on the lOth <br /> <br />day of September, 1962 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Crepeau, Kennedy, Olmen & <br />Stromquist. <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Ashbaoh. <br /> <br />A discussion was held regarding proposed assessments for <br /> <br />Street Improvement No. .4 . Member <br /> <br />Kennedy <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND <br />ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Street Improvement No. <br />.4 of the Village of Arden Hills, in the area described in the <br />legal notice thereof and the resolution thereto, and the contract <br />prices and all exPFnses incurred or to be incurred in the making <br />of said improvement amount to $ so that the total cost <br />of the improvement will be $ 114,278.36 7 and of this cost the <br />village will pay $ 47,113.36 as its share of the cost, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the <br />Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, as follows I <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed <br />is hereby declared to be $ 67,165.00 <br /> <br />2. The village clerk, with the assistance of the village <br />engineers, Banister Engineering company, shall forthwith <br />calculate theproper amount to be specially assessed for such <br />improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of <br />land within the district affected, without regard to cash val- <br />uation, as provided by law, and she shall file a copy of such <br />proposed assessment in her office for public inspection. The <br />services of the Machine Accounting Division of the County of <br />Ramsey shall be utilized, insofar as possible. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />3. The clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed <br />assessment, notify the council thereof, and the clerk and the <br />engineer are hereby directed to have the tentative assessment <br />roll prepared and returned to the council by Sept. 24. 1962 <br />for their further action in calling a public hearing thereon. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />duly seconded by Olmen and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof I <br /> <br />and the following voted against the samel <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed ~ ad~pt~d~~ <br />
