Edward Fyten. 1137 Ed[ewater Avenu@, requested toot Mr. .Perl'on <br />not be obligated to reimburse her the $40~OO as required by the <br />Village. She informed the Council that the charge Was a misl1ndel'p <br />standing and that Mr. Perron was not liable. Don P1'l!'to, 1200 Ingerson Ron d. representing the Josephine lIills <br />Assn.. requested the oleaning of a ditch which runs through 10'GS <br />13A and 13B. which is owned b: the Association and which contains <br />lake access. This ditch oarries surface water and is from 18" to <br />2' deep and'over 200' in length. ~"r. Bai"tho stated that it is a <br />mOSquito bl'eeding area and a danger area fol' children. He :a1so <br />request'ed fl'ee fill dirt fol' lot 13B. <br /> <br />Mro Bartho infol'med the Council that the Association would like to <br />widEmand lessen the depth of this ditch to enable the construction <br />of a lagoon. lJayor Ashbach offered to consult with the Coun by on <br />the cleaning of the ditch and suggested that Mr. Bartho get an esti= <br />mate from a private c9otractor on the lagoon project after the ditch <br />has been clea~ed. <br /> <br />John Kelley ~ Sewer Connection Problem <br />John Ke.L~e7. 4029 j;I'al;view Ave.~ req~ested.an alternate way of <br />connecti~g proposed homes to the sanitary system as Mr. Thomas <br />1s not willing to grant an easement~ Mayor Ashbach offel'ed to <br />confer with Mr. Thomas and requested Mr. Kelley to contact him <br />wi thin a few da,,-s.' <br /> <br />Rezoning Petition <br />Mr. Krannall',., presented a plat of 21 lots bordering 'H'b Avenue <br />North & NewBl'ighton ROp-d and reQuested an amendment to the <br />zoning ordinance to allow him to construct double bungalows and <br />multiple dwellings. Referred to Clerk to arrange a preliminary <br />joint meetln~ witn ~enreBeQtation from Arden Hills and New Brighton <br />to discuss the bounds!'ies and sewer feasibility prior to initiating <br />an amendment to the zoning ordinance~ <br /> <br />Boulevard Tl'ee Plaptlng <br />Heol'eat1on BUOget <br />Kenneth SparkS. 1385 Foreat Lane, suegested tl~t consideration be <br />given to the plant~ng of trees on village boulevards. <br /> <br />Mro Sparks also requested an increase in the recreation budget for <br />next year. <br /> <br />Sdnital' Sewer Improvement #5.
