June 1::> . to appeal:' in COUl"t <br />on Thursday, June 14, out WaS granted an extension of ti"G to the <br />27'l;h of June, regarding easement vacation of pl'opel't~' on the south- <br />west oorner of Lexillgton,snd Himway lilO. MSS1"8. Zilliox. Hy",n and <br />Harkins. ti,~ property owners iovolVij~ were also oraered to apyear. <br />The Village p~s a temporary easement on this property for drain~ <br />age purposes. Mr. Zilliox appeared at the Council Meeting and <br />stated that he bas not reoeived any oompensation from the VilJ.age <br />i'o!' the easement on his property, but the Village could continue <br />the present use of his property as long as he owns the property, <br />Trustee Kennedy moved ti1St the Attorney and the Village Engineer <br />do not oppose priVate e~sements at the hearing>> Trustee Olmen <br />seconded p motion carried. <br /> <br />Arden Properties, Inc. <br />Mr. Pat Flener'by. Pthat a motel as proposed be built within a two year period ~ <br />Trustee Olmen seconded ~ motion carried. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mayor Asnbsch inf~med Mr. Flaherty that 8 special meeting would <br />be called if the above mentioned were in order before the regula~ <br />council meeting of July 9, 1962. <br /> <br />Drainage Problems <br />Mr. Purcell, 1948 Glenview Ave., requested that a swamp Caused by <br />fill from the sewer projeot be drained ~ referred to Trustee Olmen. <br /> <br />Mr. Don RelOl.lxp ShoreVlood DriveD reauested that the Village erect <br />a railing or fenoing on the bridre over a high stream Dext to his <br />property. Ashb",ch requested that the Village Engineer check to aSSUl'e <br />proper drainage from Skiles Lane and Glenardeo Road to the State <br />HighWay oulvert under Haml1ne Avenue to eliminate the drainage <br />problem affeoting the Kolby and Clark residenoes. <br />
