Trustee KennedI's Report Pley~round ~ tl ~hwey b! and County Ro~d F Trus ee Aennedy reported that tne cost or stabilizing the ditch on the North end of the plaYfrou1d would cost $10,000, with the eost being paid 60% by the Villare and 40% by the County. The Council recommended a temporary solution. Trustee Kennedy also reported that the parking facilities were satisfactory at this t1.ie. Trustee Aennedy info~ed the Council that the present drainage prOblem is caused from private property, and WaS requested by the Council to check with the property owners about filling in by the Village ~. Trus tee Olmen Lift Station Fower Failure Trustee Olmen reported that during the recent storms there was power failure affectinr the lift stations ~ blowing fuses. He informed the Council that extra fuses have been placed in the storage building, acoessible.to the ~intenance and police de= partments. Siems Court - Buried Telephone Cable Request Clerk Lorra1ne Stramqu1st-read a letter rrom Bnnister ~nglneering Co. su~gesting changes in an application for a request by the North- west Bell Telephone Co. to place, construct and, thereafter, main- tain a buried telephone cable in Siems Court as shown on an attached map. Banister Engineering Co. changes drawn on the said mapQ Trustee ~ennedy moved a,proval subject to approval by Atty. Courtney and on the condition tPst the area be replaced to its or~ginal status, and consideration be given to existing trees, etc. - seconded by Clerk Lorraine Stromquist - motion carried. Storm Sewer S~udy COillmission Clerk Lorraine Stromquist info~ed the Council that Banister Engineering Co. has agreed to attend as many meetings of the Ramsey County League of Municipalities on the above subject as are necessary, limiting the charge to the Village to 2 or fi 3 meetings. Municipal Court Meetinf Trustee Olmen and poss bly Trustee Crepeau offered to attend a meeting scheduled by Mr. Boog. G'Arden Seed end Weed Club Donation The above garden olub .pledged a donation of $50.00 s~ggesting it to be used toward the financing of a planter box constructed around the sign post at the Village Hall. Town & Country Sign Co estimated the cost at $70.00. the Council agreed to supplement the dona tion with $20.00. Clerk requested to Bend "Thank you" note.
