The Council <br />recommended a temporary solution. Trustee Kennedy also reported <br />that the parking facilities were satisfactory at this t1.ie. <br /> <br />Trustee Aennedy info~ed the Council that the present drainage <br />prOblem is caused from private property, and WaS requested by the <br />Council to check with the property owners about filling in by the <br />Village ~. <br /> <br />Trus tee Olmen <br />Lift Station Fower Failure <br />Trustee Olmen reported that during the recent storms there was <br />power failure affectinr the lift stations ~ blowing fuses. He <br />informed the Council that extra fuses have been placed in the <br />storage building, acoessible.to the ~intenance and police de= <br />partments. <br /> <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist's Report <br />Sewer I,n~roveJ).ent 1/2, Change Order #2 <br />Trustee ennedy moved the approval or a change order of installing <br />underground 3-phase service to lift station at Presbyterian Home <br />in lieu of overhead service for a total cost of ~p28948 00. seconded <br />by Trustee Olmen . motion carried. <br /> <br />Shoreview-Arden Hills Drainage Problem <br />Clerk Lorra1ne stromqu1st read a letter, nated JUle 79 1962 from <br />Mr. Carley, Shoreview Engineer, requesting a date for a joint <br />meeting rerarding the dr4inage problem at Lexington Ave. and Inger= <br />son ROnd .. referred to Clerk. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Siems Court - Buried Telephone Cable Request <br />Clerk Lorra1ne Stramqu1st-read a letter rrom Bnnister ~nglneering <br />Co. su~gesting changes in an application for a request by the North- <br />west Bell Telephone Co. to place, construct and, thereafter, main- <br />tain a buried telephone cable in Siems Court as shown on an attached <br />map. Banister Engineering Co. changes drawn on the said mapQ <br />Trustee ~ennedy moved a,proval subject to approval by Atty. Courtney <br />and on the condition tPst the area be replaced to its or~ginal <br />status, and consideration be given to existing trees, etc. - <br />seconded by Clerk Lorraine Stromquist - motion carried. Referred <br />to Clerk to so inform Northwestern Dell Telephone Co. <br /> <br />Storm Sewer S~udy COillmission <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist info~ed the Council that Banister <br />Engineering Co. has agreed to attend as many meetings of the <br />Ramsey County League of Municipalities on the above subject as <br />are necessary, limiting the charge to the Village to 2 or fi 3 <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Municipal Court Meetinf <br />Trustee Olmen and poss bly Trustee Crepeau offered to attend a <br />meeting scheduled by Mr. Boog. Deputy Clerk of Mounds View, for <br />June 14, at 8 p.m. at the Mounds View Village Hall on the study <br />of a municipal co\U"t. <br /> <br />G'Arden Seed end Weed Club Donation <br />The above garden olub .pledged a donation of $50.00 s~ggesting it <br />to be used toward the financing of a planter box constructed <br />around the sign post at the Village Hall. Town & Country Sign Co <br />estimated the cost at $70.00. the Council agreed to supplement the <br />dona tion with $20.00. Clerk requested to Bend "Thank you" note. <br />
