<br /> I <br /> .. SCOPE <br /> The City of Arden Hills has directed Maier Stewart & Associates. Inc. to <br /> I prepare a set of plans that will provide an overflow for the wetland <br /> preservation area located within the Keithson Addition and size the storage <br /> I pond for the entire drainage area. <br /> I The information in this report is based on the North Central Drainage Report <br /> I prepared in 1978 and approved by the Rice Creek Watershed District. This <br /> project is contained within a drainage area named A-7 by the North Central <br /> I Drainage Report. The low area in the southwest corner of this drainage <br /> I area, north of Arden View Drive has been designated as the ponding area for <br /> the entire drainage area. This low area is designated pond A-7a. <br /> I The entire drainage area can be divided into three sub areas which are: <br /> II 1. The area around the wetland preservation area; <br /> 2. The area around pond A-7a; and <br /> I 3. The area around the low area south of the Keithson Addition and <br /> east of Pond A-7a. <br /> I <br /> I The conculsion of this report explains what should be completed now and in <br /> the future based on the information in this report. <br /> I <br /> EXISTING AND PROPOSED CONDITIONS <br /> I The wetland preservation area as designated by the Rice Creek Watershed <br /> I District, is a low area located within a drainage and utility easement in Lots <br /> 4, 5 and 6, Block 1 of the Keithson Addition. Page 2 of the enclosed plans <br /> shows the location of the wetland preservation area. The elevation of the <br /> pond bottom is 969.50 and presently has a water elevation of 971.7. <br /> I <br />
