Malone called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL The roll being called the following members were present: <br /> Acting Mayor Malone, Councilmembers JoAnn Growe, ThOll'aS <br /> Mahcmald and Dale Hicks. Mayor Sather arrived at 7:30 p.m. Also present: Attmney <br /> Jerry Filla, Park Director John Buckley, Public Works SUperintendent Dan Winkel, <br /> Clerk Administrator Gal:y Berger and Deputy Clerk Catherine Iago, <br /> PERF. EI/AL.; Councilmember =nducted the annual performance evaluation <br /> PARK DIRECIOR for Park Director John Buckley between 6:15 and 7:15 p,m, <br /> Mayor Sather arrived and Council reconvened for the regular meeting at 7:30 p,m, <br /> AOOPI' Malone llIOVed, seconded by Hicks, to adopt the December 30 <br /> AGENDA agenda. Motion =ied unaniInously. (5-0) <br /> APPROVE Growe 1l\Oved, seconded by Mahowald, to approve the minutes <br /> MINUI'ES of the November 25 and December 9 Regular council <br /> meetings, as sul:xnitted. Motion =ied unaniInously. (5-0) <br /> CONSENT Councilmember Mahowald questioned the placement of <br /> CALENDAR of Item 5(g) under the Consent Calendar; suggested this <br /> item be 1l\Oved to the "Unfinished/New Business" portion of <br /> the agenda since it relates to the ~iration of the POD approval for Continental <br /> Development. <br /> . Clerk Administrator Berger ~lained the memorandum relating to ~iration of <br /> pemits is an inforrrational item and Council action is not required. He advised. <br /> the ~iration notices for the planning cases would be harxiled administratively <br /> and staff has discussed the memorandum with the respective planning applicants. <br /> Council1nember Malone refeITed to Item 5(c), Memorandum from the Park Director on <br /> Program Funds, and noted f= the record that the report does not meet council <br /> direction to the Park Director. Malone ~lained the direction, as specified in <br /> the September 9 Council Worksession minutes, was to provide inforrration which <br /> outlined that direct costs of the progr"/t~id by fees. <br /> ~Hi~Ved, seconded by Malone, to adopt the Consent <br /> Calendar as sul:xnitted and authorize execution of all necessary documents <br /> =ntained therein: <br /> a, Adopt Resolution No. 91-72, Establishing Arbor Day and Arbor Month. <br /> b. Approval of 1992 Business Licenses, <br /> c. Receive 12-23-91 Memorandum from Park Director relating to Program Funds, <br /> d. Approve Request to Solicit - Victory Achievers. <br /> e, Schedule Special Council Meeting, 5: 00 p,m" Thursday, January 2, 1992. <br /> f, Approve Salary In=ease for Public Works SUperintendent. <br /> g. Receive Inforrration on Expiration of Permits for Approved Planning Commission <br /> Projects, <br /> h. Approval Final Pay Estimate, 1991 overlay and Sealcnat Improvements. <br /> . i. Approval List of Claims and Payroll. <br /> Motion carried unanilnously. (5-0) <br />
