There is not <br /> - <br /> 6 sufficient office space, special and normal work space and meeting space. The Council chambers <br /> i are cramped and inefficient. Public access, public restroom facilities and other related items are <br /> - poor, and do not meet today's or future needs of the community. <br /> ! Parking space at City Hall is very limited, and is not adequate for large attendance at meetings. <br /> ~ The building has been added to and is not efficiently laid out to perform the services required. <br /> .... <br /> f Storage space is almost nonexistent. Valuable and required records are stored in the public works <br /> -~1 garage and other non-fIre protected areas. <br /> = <br /> { The City Hall building is presently not energy efficient and certainly does not meet today's <br /> .- - <br /> i. standards. Serious defIciencies exist with the current heating and cooling systems and repair are <br /> ------;;;;;;;;: regular and becoming increasingly more expensive. <br /> ! <br /> . ....., <br /> ~ The appearance of the building, both exterior and interior, does not meet the image of the rest <br /> :-:. of the City. More importantly, the building is experiencing severe deterioration of its exterior <br /> i <br /> ~". "skin" and is in need of repair. <br /> ~ <br /> }- The present and projected future space needs, detennined by the combined Committee and staff, <br /> ; .- are far from the space that presently exists.
