The trails are <br /> aesthetically attractive; the trails provide a place to <br /> walk, jog, ride bike, cross country ski; the trails provide <br /> an alternative mode of transportation for work or play. <br /> Goal <br /> continue an aggressive maintenance and improvement program <br /> for the Arden Hills trail system <br /> - Work with Maier Stewart to improve the connecting trail <br /> between Cumming and Floral Parks -- March/April 1992 <br /> - Pave Cumming/Floral Trail -- May/June 1992 <br /> - Implement a weekly maintenance program for all City <br /> trails -- April/May 1992 <br /> - Develop a three-year program for installing benches, <br /> planting trees/shrubs -- June 1992 <br /> - Develop a long term maintenance program for top <br /> dressing and asphalting trails -- October 1992 <br /> - Research the cost of time, equipment and manpower for <br /> removing snow from: <br /> - City sidewalks (Lexington, Hamline, county Road E) <br /> -- October 1992 <br />. - Connecting trails (Hazelnut and Cummings/Floral) <br /> - Intra park trails at cummings, Floral & Hazelnut <br /> Parks <br />. <br />
