My client manages a multi-
tenant office warehouse located at 4354 Round Lake Road West. The
warehouse is a maj or distribution point for a number of local
businesses, including Cardiac Pacemakers, Brandsite Services,
Sewall Bros. Co., Food & Fuel and Scholls.

In the past months, the road has deteriorated to a point where
continuing to call it a "road" is a creative use of the English
language. Numerous chuck holes, gouges and bucklings have reduced
the road to little more than rubble; efforts to asphalt particular
holes have only exacerbated the overall problem. As the tenants
in this area rely on the road as a primary artery of distribution,
the road's condition seriouslv ieooardizes those tenants I
operations. At least one tenant transp~rts sensitive, calibrated
equipment over the road. The tenants have all voiced
dissatisfaction with the road's condition to my client and a number
have threatened not to renew their leases. As a result, my client
faces a substantial loss of revenue should this road be left in its
present condition. Immediate action is necessary to alleviate this
serious problem.

I understand that there will be a meeting of the city Council this
coming Monday I March 9, 1992. Please be advised that
representatives from Accent Real Estate and the local business
community will be present at that meeting to discuss resolution of
. this matter including any appropriate alternatives. I trust that
all parties concerned will be able to identify a solution which
