Estimated construction cost is $26,000. <br /> Engineer Mark Graham is preparing a detailed report with recommendations for <br /> CoW1Cil review. <br /> TURF MAINTENANCE: <br /> 'Ihe warmer weather has stimulated the growth of grass. 'Ihe Park Crew will be <br /> cutting the grass in all the Parks at Least once a week. Some areas will be <br />. cut more often. <br /> The turf on all the major playing areas will be aerated and fertilized. <br /> ADULT SOFTBl\LL: <br /> All the adult leagues are off to a good start this season with sunshine and <br /> warmer temperatures. 'Ihe season openers have been canceled in the past due to <br /> adverse weather conditions. <br /> D.A.R.E. BIKE-A-THON: <br /> An enthusiastic group of youth and adults participated in the bike-a-thon on <br /> Saturday, May 2. 'Ihe strong winds, however, put a damper on the length of <br /> rides for many bikers. <br /> FLOWER GARDENS: <br /> The 1992 Flower Planting Party is scheduled for Saturday, May 16. The Parks <br /> Crew will be busy this week preparing the beds for the event.
