BUCKLEY <br /> PAGE TWO <br /> PROPOSED <br /> GOALS COMPLETION PROGRESS TO DATE <br /> CITY PRIDE PROGRAMS: <br /> Arbor Day April 25 seventy-five youth and <br /> adults representing <br /> Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, <br /> students, service clubs <br /> and neighborhood groups, <br /> celebrated Arbor Day by <br /> planting trees or seed- <br /> lings on April 24 & 25. <br /> county Road EjGateway May 16 Over 60 youth and <br /> Flower Gardens adults participated in <br /> the Flower Power <br /> celebration on Saturday, <br /> May 16. <br /> Seven (7) businesses <br /> ~ planted gardens on County <br /> Road E. <br /> Flower Gardens May 16 Nine (9) gateway borders <br /> were planted. <br /> county Road E Banners May 16 Street Banners were <br /> delivered June 5. Banners <br /> were put up during the <br /> week of June 8. <br /> PROGRAMS AND SERVICES: <br /> Youth Coaches Training Fifty (50) T-Ball, Youth <br /> Softball-Girls Fast Pitch <br /> & Boys Babe Ruth coaches <br /> attended the NYSCA <br /> Counselor Training Program <br /> on May 27 and 28. Cynthia <br /> Severtson conducted the <br /> training program. <br /> Light Brigade, Inc. paid <br /> the $15.00 registration <br /> fee for the coaches. <br /> ~ <br />
