Absent: Members steve Erickson, Scott <br /> Petersen and Council Liaison Thomas Mahowald. Also present: Planner <br /> John Berg1y, Acting Clerk Administratcr Catherine Iago, Building <br /> Official Dave Kriesel, and Recording Secretary Tery Shields. <br /> APPROYE MINllTES <br /> Winiecki noted on Page 9, Case #92-08, Variance for D1ugosc:hj the <br /> address should read, 1482 Arden View Drive. <br /> McGraw moved, seconded by winiecki, to approve the Revised June 3, 1992, <br /> Planning Minutes. All voted in favor. (5-0) <br /> . PUBLIC HEroUN:; - DEVEIill'MENT MORA'lUUUM <br /> Chair Probst opened the public hearing at 7:35 p.m., Development <br /> Moratorium. <br /> Acting Clerk Administrator Catherine Iago confinned the publication of <br /> the Notice of Hearing in the New Bricmtcn Bulletin on Wednesday, June <br /> 24. <br /> Chair Probst explained the Commission is in the process of reviewing and <br /> proposing amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and that the Commission <br /> recammends tc Council a moratorium be placed. <br /> Chair Probst asked if there was anyone present to speak in favor of or <br /> opposed to this matter. <br /> Mr. Mike Nordstrom, Grand Met (Alpo Pet Foods), asked if the moratorium <br /> would affect his proposed subdivision and expressed his concerns of <br /> selling the property tc perspective J:uyers who wish tc develop it at the <br /> same t:i1ne the moratorium is in place. <br /> Bergly explained the moratorium would not be effective until the Council <br /> takes action at the July 13 Council meeting. <br /> Member winiecki stated any development that would comply with the new <br /> . ordinance would be acceptable. <br /> Chair Probst asked if there were any other questions or comments. <br /> Hearing no response, the public hearing was closed at 7:38 p.m. <br />
