Arden Hills Council 13 August 31, 1992 AUTHORIZATION TO EXTEND PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE TERM OF EMPLOYMENT This agenda item was removed during adoption of agenda, APPROVE SALARY INCREASE FOR DEPUTY CLERK/ZONING ADMINISTRATOR Prior to this evening's regular agenda, during closed session} Council conducted a performance evaluation on Deputy Clerk Iago. MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Growe, to approve a salary increase for Deputy Clerk/Zoning Administrator Catherine Iago to Level 5 of the 1992 Pay Plan effective September 3, 1992 , and to terminate Ms. Iago's duties as Acting Clerk Administrator effective September 7, 1992. Motion carried unanimously (5-0) . Council thanked Deputy Clerk Iago for her extra effort put forth in the last couple of months as Acting Clerk . Administrator. Councilmember Malone commented that it would be appropriate to take necessary action to create a City Administrator authority type government giving the newly appointed City Administrator broader authority. MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Hicks, to direct the City Attorney to draft an appropriate resolution creating broader City Administrator authority type of government. Motion carried unanimously (5-0). SCHEDULE COUNCIL WORKSESSION SEPTEMBER 8. 1992 MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Mahowald, to schedule a Council worksession September 8, 1992 at 4:00 p.m. Motion carried unanimously (5-0). Councilmember Hicks advised that he would be unable to attend the September 8 worksession. REQUEST FOR TENT SALE ZEOS COMPUTER FACTORY OUTLET . Council reviewed an application from Steve Larson, Manager of the Zeos Computer Factory Outlet, requesting permission to erect two tents in front of the Zeos Computer Factory ~ Outlet store at 3787 North Lexington for use as .~ advertisement and a snack bar for Zeos' sale from September .3 through 7, 1992.
