CANVASS OF 1992 CITY ELECTION <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 1992, 5:00 P.M. - CITY HALL <br /> At the City election of the City of Arden Hills, Ramsey county, <br /> Minnesota, held at the City of Arden Hills Precincts 1, 2, 3, and 4, <br /> being the places it was directed to be held by the City Council, after <br /> giving due notice thereof as provided by law on the 3rd day of November <br /> 1992, the election boards, being qualified voters of said City to act as <br /> judges of such election and each took and subscribed an oath to <br /> faithfully discharge the duties required of them at such election. Said <br /> qualified and trained judges opened the polls by proclamation, and the <br /> election proceeded by ballots without adjourrunent or intermission until <br /> closed. <br /> The subjects voted on at such election, as stated in the Notice, were: <br /> To elect two Councilmembers for four year terms. <br /> To elect on Councilmember for a two year unexpired term. <br /> To vote on Proposition 1, Shall the City of Arden Hills be authorized to <br /> issue General Obligation Bonds in the amount of 2.8 million dollars for <br /> construction of a new Public Works/Maintenance Facility. <br /> At 8:00 P.M. on November 3, 1992, the polls were closed. The judges then <br /> publicly counted and canvassed the votes, and a true statement was <br /> proclaimed to the voters by the Clerk Administrator, who recorded the <br /> . same in the City Minute book, <br /> STATEMENT OF RESULTS OF CANVASS <br /> The following is a true statement of the counting and canvass of votes <br /> by ballot at the Arden Hills City election, Ramsey County, Minnesota, <br /> held Tuesday, November 3, 1992, as proclaimed to the voters by the <br /> election judges: <br /> Beverly Aplikowski received 2131 votes for Councilmember <br /> Paul L. Malone received 2069 votes for Councilmember <br /> Thomas A, Mahowald received 1821 votes for Counci1member <br /> Freddie Shutten received 1299 votes for Councilmember <br /> Write-ins received 47 votes for Councilmember <br /> Dale R. Hicks received 2334 votes for Councilmember <br /> Eugene A. Richter 1614 votes for Councilmember <br /> Write-ins received votes for councilmember <br /> Proposition I received 2546 votes for NO <br /> Proposition 1 received 2378 votes for YES <br /> Beverly Aplikowski and Paul L. Malone were declared elected <br /> Councilmembers for two four year terms. Dale R. Hicks was declared <br /> elected Councilmember for a two year unexpired term. <br /> Proposition 1 failed with a majority of negative votes. <br /> Dorothy A.
