She received an excellent rating during her se=nd <br /> evaluation. I have been very pleased with Cindy's performance: <br /> . She is a very mature and disciplined individual that demands a <br /> high standard of performance for herself. <br /> . She is committed to excellence and providing top program <br /> experience to participants. <br /> . The quality and quantity of programs have steadily grown under her <br />. leadership and direction with the limited program space available. <br /> . She is a very positive person and has excellent rapport with <br /> staff, program leaders, program participants, and the public. <br /> . She is very serious about improving her professional lmowledge and <br /> skills. She is presently taking two graduate =urses towards a <br /> Masters Degree in Public Administration in addition to working <br /> full time. <br /> SAIARY HISIORY: <br /> Ms. Severtson's starting salary was $22,568. She received an in=ease <br /> to $28,558 after her first year based on an excellent rating and to <br /> begin the process of comparable worth rorrpliance for the city. <br /> ~ON: <br /> I recammend that Ms. Severtson's salary be in=eased to $31,225, step 2 <br /> of the 1992 Pay Plan for this position, based on a successful <br /> performance evaluation. <br /> ACTION REOUIRED: <br /> If Council =ncurs, they should pass a motion to award cindy Severtson <br />. an increase to $31'~ step 2 of the 1992 Pay Plan, retroactive to <br /> March 13. <br /> JTB/ts <br /> M92-102 <br />
