The concerns of the <br /> Cable Corrnnission are listed in the body of the April 9 memorandum, also <br /> attached. <br /> RE:O::MMENDATION: <br /> This appears to be a standard resolution outlining the Cable <br /> Commission's concerns and I would recommend adoption. <br />. AC1'ION RIDUIRED: <br /> If Council con=s with the Cable Corrnnission concerns, they should adopt <br /> Resolution No. 92-28 Urging the Minnesota Congressional Delegation to <br /> Co-sponsor and SUpport Cable Legislation which would Provide Consumer <br /> Protection for Cable Television SUbscribers, Preserve Community <br /> Television Channels and Funding SUpport, and Protect the city's <br /> Authority to Control and Manage its Public Rights-of-way and direct <br /> staff to forward to appropriate Congressional Representatives. <br /> crr/ts <br /> Attachments <br /> M92-136 <br />. <br />
