Specifically, the objectives for 1991 were to move the por tfo 1 io to a position where the inves tmen t instruments were more diversified by type as we 11 as ma tur i ty , as compared to past practice of lim i ting inves tmen ts to certificates of deposit or Treasury ob I iga tions with ma tur i ties of one year 0, less.
