The Ordinance may halt
development for one year and may be extended for up to eighteen
additional months. ,
The Ordinance would become effective following the date of
publication. However, the Ordinance cannot delay subdivisions
which preliminary approval has been given prior to the
date of the interim Ordinance. effective
th ~.he ?rdinanc~ should be considered at a public hearing before
e :!.ty s Plann:!.ng Commission. The Public Hearing should be
preceded by ten days published notice. The Ordinance must be
~pproved by th~ee affirmative votes of the City Council.
