Highway 96 <br /> Arden Hills, MN 55112 <br /> RE: ARDEN PLACE DRAINAGE ISSUE <br /> Dear Council Members: <br /> The continued public hearing for the above referenced project will be discussed at the July 27, <br /> 1992 City Council meeting. <br /> Following discussion at the July 20, 1992 Council work session, it is apparent that directing storm <br /> water runoff to the east toward property owned by the Lake Johanna Beach Club is the preferable <br /> . option. I have contacted the Club's president, Mr. Dave Plummer, regarding any necessary <br /> easement acquisition and he will be present at the City Council meeting. <br /> Following the close of the public hearing, it would be appropriate for the Council to consider the <br /> attached resolution. This resolution orders preparation of plans and specifications to direct runoff <br /> to the east. The estimated project cost for this work is $30,000. The plans and specifications <br /> would be presented for approval and advertisement for bids in August 1992. <br /> I will be in attendance at the July 27, 1992 City Council meeting.
