Each week <br /> staff receives requests for a map identifying the location of city parks <br /> and trails. 'Ihe map we have been issuing is inadequate and difficult to <br /> read. <br /> I have been working with Mark Graham and Kate Huehsch in developing a <br /> City map that will be attractive and easier to read. Ms. Huehsch has <br /> proposed several options that will cost between $1,150 to $1,650. I <br /> would like Council approval to print the maps at a cost not to exceed <br /> . $1,650. 'Ihe maps would be included in the winter program flyer and <br /> mailed to individuals upon request. <br /> REC:CMillIDATION: <br /> I recommend funding this llI1I::udgeted expenditure in the "other Services <br /> and Olarges" area of the Park FUnd (Account Number 227-45100-343). With <br /> the inclusion of this expenditure request, the Park FUnd is expected to <br /> under-run the expenditure bJdget approximately $1,800, or 3.1 percent of <br /> bJdget. <br /> ACIION RIDUIRED: <br /> If Council concurs, they should make a motion under Consent to authorize <br /> the printing of the trail maps at a cost of approxilnately $1,650.00. <br /> JTBjrk <br /> Attachments <br /> . <br /> ---- <br />
