He <br /> pointed out that. no one who spoke this evening, even those <br /> whose properties would receive the benefit of dry land, have <br /> expressed acceptance of an assessment. <br /> councilmember Hicks stated that he too sympathizes with <br /> Noyed and McGuire, but favors abandoning the project. <br /> MOTION: Growe moved, seconded by Malone, to abandon the Arden <br /> place Storm Sewer Improvement Project. Motion carried <br /> unanimously (5-0). <br /> Attorney Filla reported that his research indicates that <br /> when the City approved the lot split in lS82, that actiO!,; <br /> was taken on the advise of t.hen City Engineer that the lot <br /> was buildable and no drainage problem should be created by <br /> development of the new lot. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />.
