<br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />. FALSE ALARM PROCEDURE <br /> POLICY: Any written appeal of a false alarm charge shall <br /> be reviewed and considered first by the City <br /> Administrator. The scope of this review will be <br /> non-owner controlled situations which resulted in <br /> a false alarm. The Administrator shall have the <br /> authority to adjust the charge as appropriate. <br /> Thereafter, any continued charge shall be appealed <br /> to the city council. <br /> PROCEDURE: <br /> 1. A written appeal of a false alarm charge shall be <br /> forwarded to the City Administrator. <br /> 2. The basis of this review will be non-owner <br /> controlled situations, such as lightning storms, <br /> power outages, and new alarm systems. <br /> 3 . The appellant will submit documentation of such <br /> non-owner controlled situations. <br /> 4. Based on documentation of valid circumstances, the <br />. city Administrator may adjust the number of false <br /> alarm notices and resulting charge(s). <br /> 5. Any continued appeal of a false alarm charge will <br /> be submitted in writing to the City council with <br /> documentation. <br />. <br />
