INFORMATIONAL ITEMS: <br /> a. Keithson Drive Ubdate: As the Council is aware, the Maier stewart <br /> rec::ommerrlation for Keithson Drive is to provide additional time <br /> for settling to occur in the spring. Patching has been c:cmpleted <br /> by City maintenance =ews at this time until the spring settling <br /> tllne period. If you have any questions, please feel free to <br /> =ntact Dorothy or Dan. <br /> b. 1993 Contractor Ubdate: Maier stewart has advised the city that a - <br /> max.iJnum hourly rate $75.00 (rather than $76.73 per hour maxllnum in <br /> 1992) is proposed for the city beginning in their fiscal year <br /> February, 1993. <br /> c. Horne Rule 01arter: Ramsey County has informed the City that Hane <br /> Rule Olarter is in effect since November 6, 1992. UOOer this <br /> provision, the County must serrl approved minutes to all <br /> municipalities and libraries for review. In the past few months, <br /> the city has posted the minutes on the City Public Bulletin Board <br /> and will =tinue to do so for public review. <br /> d. city Committee Recocmition and APPreciation: It has been <br /> suggested that recognition and appreciation be given to City <br /> Committee members who have the assisted the city and citizens <br /> throughout the year. December 14 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm is <br /> suggested as a reception to recognize and show appreciation for <br /> these committee members from Council and staff. If this is <br /> something that you agree to pursue, please let Dorothy know at the <br /> November 30 meeting. <br /> e. Rentinq Council O1arnbers durim Eveninq Hours: staff has received <br /> requests from several groups desiring to use City Hall in the <br /> evenings. The cost and security issues have been a concern. In <br /> reviewing these costs, the potential cost could range from $10.00 <br /> to $25.00 per hour with an average of $15.00 per hour covering <br /> both staff time and overhead (lighting, heating, cleaning, etc). <br /> '!his, however, is higher in contrast to other adjacent communities <br /> (Shoreview charges non-citizens $10.00 per room per night or . <br /> $40.00 per room per night depending on the size).
