'!he fees have not increased since 1987 (liqu= license fees were increased in 1990 am are not in this =ent recommendation) . In order to provide f= proper timin;J of notifications to hlsinesses of increases and =ent fees, it is recanmen::1ed that the Council act on the following: FEE 0iANGES OF aJRRENr LICENSES: . 1) Increase in sign license fees: Initial permit fee - from $25.00 to $50.00 for 1993. Annual sign license fee - 100 sq. ft. = less from $10.00 to $20.00; 101 sq. ft. to 400 sq. ft. from $2.00/additional to $4.00/additional; over 400 sq. ft. from $2.50/additional to $5.00/additional. '!hese increases are expected to double the =ent collection to $3,750 per year income. 2) Increase the drive-through restaurant fee from $250.00 to $300.00 f= an additional $100.00 per year. 3) Increase retail sales license fees from $40.00 to $50.00. 4) Delete the Rendering Plant license fee. 5) Approve the chan;Jes in the fol1c:Ming permit structure: a. Sewer permit - from $15 to $35 b. Water permit - from $15 to $35; installation from $15/hour to $30/hour. c. Plumbing permit - from $15.50 minimum plus $5.00 for each additional fixture to $15.50 f= the first fixture and $7.50 f= each additional fixture.
