INl'ERNM'IetmL PAPER. 1313 am FOX RCll\D
Planner Bergly referred to his report dated January 6, 1993, and
explained that in O::tober, 1992 the City reviewed and awroved an
application for site Plan approval relating to a 20,000 gallon aJ:ove
ground fuel oil tank for International Paper. The installer is ready to
install the insulation on the tank and has detenni.ned that a wood frame
building could be =nstructed arourxi the tank for ab:>ut the same cost as
applying insulation to the tank. 'Ihe request is therefore to amend Case
#92-18 to allow an accessory l:uilding to be =nstructed which would
entirely enclose the approved tank.
Planner Bergly noted the following OJnsiderations: 1. 'Ihe a<x<>"'sory
building will be placed on the existing =n=ete dike and will be 16' x
. 55' or 880 sf. It will be wood frame construction with insulation
placed between the studs and sheetrock on the interior. 2. A fire
sprinkler system will be installed, using anti-freeze to keep from
freezing. 3. 'Ihe exterior of the l:uilding and con=ete dike will be
painted white to blen:1 with the main building.
