'It <br /> EN HILLS <br /> SUMMARY ORDINANCE NO. 2024-003 <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, LICENSES AND REGULATIONS, <br /> OF THE ARDEN HILLS CITY CODE UPDATING <br /> SECTION 320 LIMITED,TEMPORARY PERMITS, <br /> SUBSECTIONS 320.09,320.10 AND 320.12 <br /> AND SECTION 395 MOBILE FOOD UNITS, <br /> SUBSECTIONS 395.03,395.04,395.05 AND 395.06 <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on April 22, 2024, Ordinance No. 2024-003 was <br /> adopted by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota. <br /> NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, because of the lengthy nature of Ordinance No. <br /> 2024-003, the following summary of the ordinance has been prepared for publication. <br /> NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the ordinance adopted by the City Council amends <br /> or adds the following: <br /> • Section 320.09 is updated by deleting Mobile food unit/food truck parties/events <br /> from the list of activities for which a permit is required. <br /> • Section 320.10 is amended by deleting Mobile food unit/food truck parties/events <br /> from the list of activities for which a permit application is required. <br /> • Section 320.12 limiting the number of occasions and duration of Mobile food <br /> unit/food truck parties/events on residential properties is deleted in its entirety. <br /> • Section 395—Mobile Food Units, Subsection 395.03 related to license requirements <br /> for Mobile food units is amended to delete the requirement of a City license and <br /> adding the requirement for Mobile food unit operators to obtain applicable Ramsey <br /> County or State licenses prior to operation in the City, and to display such licenses at <br /> all times during such operation. <br /> • Section 395—Mobile Food Units, Subsection 395.04 related to City license <br /> applications for a Mobile food unit is deleted in its entirety. <br /> • Section 395—Mobile Food Units, Subsection 395.05 is renumbered to Subsection <br /> 395.04, and is amended related to operations of Mobile food units in the City, <br /> including limits on allowed locations, performance standards, displays of licenses, <br /> and prohibited practices. <br /> • Section 395—Mobile Food Units, Subsection 395.06 related to suspension or <br /> revocation of a City license for a Mobile food unit, and establishing the penalty for <br /> violations of City Code requirements related to operations of a Mobile food unit, is <br /> deleted in its entirety. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
