Mark Graham am myself investigated all concerns that were brought up at the April 12 Public Hearing. We also surveyed all of the ,.t....eets to be overlayed to check for any other issues not rli.....,~~'ed at the hearing. I have sent responses back to the following people regarding their c:oncerns . '!he first four letters were written to residents who either called or were at the hearing, am stated that by adding llz inch of blacktop could cause a drainage problem or that their cars would l:ottan out at the end of the driveways. It was explained that the '-A'Ut....c1ctor will be milling an area in front of the driveways so that the new blacktop would then match the existing grade or =b. 'lhese letters were sent to: . Mr. Larry McDonald Ms. Arlene Mitd1ell 4125 James Circle 1283 wynridge Ave. Mr. vincent Anderson Ms. Sandra Bainbridge 1325 Karth Lake Circle 4113 James Circle Also contacted by phone Also appearing at the hearing was Mr. Ken Hanzalik of 1768 Venus who stated that he am his neighbor, Mr. Walt Harmer from 1776 Venus, had c:oncerns about the drainage in front of their homes. I wrote letters to both gentlemen explaining that we will be replacing the existing catch basin castings am grates with a larger size. '!he small castings currently on site do not appear to be able to hanile the heavier rains. It is anticipated that replacing the castings am grates will solve the drainage issue. Mr. Dennis Prchal of 1553 Briarknoll Dr. noted a drainage issue in front of his house am also a=oss the street fran him. I sent letters to Mr. Prchal am his neighbor Mr. Lee of 1552 Briarknoll Dr explaining that we will lower the catch basins on both sides of the street, am also replace sections of curb on both sides of the catch basins. Mr. Cluck M::Cann of 1839 Venus has a problem with water running down his driveway am into his garage. I explained to Mr. M::Cann that we will be milling in front of his home am flattening the =own of the road in an atte!rpt to alter the current water drainage. Mr. M::Cann' s driveway is . currently lower than the street causing water to collect in the driveway. We will also be rel:W.lding ani raising the catch basin in front of his property. '!he =ent catch basin is small in size, am is also about 3 inches low.
